With more than 30 years in destination marketing, hospitality, and transportation industries, Dave Krupinski serves as Chief Development Officer for Visit San Antonio, driving the city’s growth as a global tourism brand. He oversees tourism sales, air service development, international strategy, and membership for a $19 billion industry that welcomes over 36 million visitors annually to the city of San Antonio.

Since joining Visit San Antonio in 2013, Dave has held executive positions within multiple divisions including marketing, sales, destination experience, media relations, government relations, events, and River Walk operations. He has played a key role in major milestones such as launching San Antonio’s first transatlantic flight, advancing World Heritage recognition for the Spanish colonial missions, and transitioning Visit San Antonio into a public-private nonprofit.

Before San Antonio, Dave was Vice President of Tourism for Visit Dallas. His versatility and deep passion for what he does includes proactive roles with the U.S. Travel Association, Brand USA, Texas Travel Association and Travel Texas along with several civic engagements in San Antonio.

A University of Toledo graduate, he enjoys travel and outdoor adventures with his wife, Karen, their son, and grandchildren.
