Shawna Suckow
Virtual Speaker – Texas Event Summit
Shawna Suckow, CSP, CMP, CVP, spent 15 years as a corporate event planner before accidentally becoming a speaker (nobody is more surprised that this happened than she is). In 2008, she started SPIN: The Senior Planners Industry Network, because she just wanted a place to connect with other experienced planners. Somehow it grew into a community of 2,500 seasoned professionals across North America, all with 10+ years in the industry. Her first two books Planner Pet Peeves and Supplier Pet Peeves did the rest. She now speaks globally helping destinations and venues, as well as small businesses across all industries, to understand how their evolving customers actually think, and then helps them stand out in ways their competitors simply can't copy.
